Is Mamo Pay secure?

Updated:

At Mamo, we take user data, privacy and security very seriously.

All companies that process, store, or transmit debit/credit card information (i.e. Mamo) are required, by law, to comply with what is called the “Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard”, PCI DSS in short.

Amongst other things, this standard means that customer card details are never stored in raw format. Cards are always encrypted before being transmitted and while being stored in our databases.

Encryption means that your card number and expiry date are not accessible in raw format to anyone. It is also worth noting that we encrypt all your details, not just card details, in order to protect user privacy.
