What happens when a disbursement fails?


Disbursements could fail for various reasons, such as entering incorrect recipient information on your disbursement file, insufficient dashboard balance, or for bank-related reasons, such as the recipient’s bank account being closed or frozen, etc.

When a disbursement fails, Mamo will notify you via email. Based on the reason for failure, you can reinitiate the disbursement by uploading a new file, or Mamo will ask you for more information to reattempt processing the disbursement.

If the failure is due to a bank-related reason, the recipient will need to get in touch with their bank to resolve the issue.
